Sexy toes....We found out this year that September is a great time to take a vacation to St. Augustine Beach. There were no crowds....it was like having your own private beach. We did worry a bit about all the storms that were brewing...but...we were blessed with beautiful weather! We enjoyed having Tricia and Nathan with us a few days...then Papa, Peggy and Aunt Linda came and we had a great time with them too. We did all the touristy things, like climbing to the top of the lighthouse, sightseeing, eating too much, having scrabble tournaments and playing Wii. Not to mention all the beach activity...the surf was a bit rough...but the water temperature was just right..the ocean breeze was awesome and the sand was perfect for walking. So we have decided...same time, same place next year! And this time we hope Michael, Zoe and Ava can come too!
