Patricia's Baby Shower...A Star is Born...

I would like to start by saying THANK YOU to Heather, Zoe and Peggy for helping me with Patricia's Baby Shower. Everything was beautifully done!! We had a wonderful turn-out of family and friends that blessed Patricia with many much needed items. Some of the things Patricia and Haiden received were some of the cutest clothes, adorable snugly stuffed animals, stroller, bathtub, sweet little hand made hats (Grammy Peggy made them :) ), $$, and so much more. Many of the gifts received were sent from family and friends that could not attend :(. And what would a shower be without great food and party games...? Guest had to guess how many blue, white and brown M&M's were in an 8 oz. baby bottle...there were 291..the winner guessed 278....then the ladies had to cut off a length of belly tape to let us know how big around they thought Tricia's belly was....we had 2 winners...they cut their piece within a 1/2 inch of her actual size...we also gave gifts to the scratch off baby lottery winner, and the giver of the 1st gift opened, and a timer was set every 5 -7 minutes and when it went off the gift Tricia was opening that guest got a gift. All guest were given star shaped cookie cutters wrapped with the saying "a star is born" on the box...so cute they were:):) Patrica really enjoyed herself and truly appreciated all the gifts that she and Nathan received for their "future star" !!!!

Our Little Soccer Player...

I may be a bit biased.....but I think we have a soccer player in the making....don't you??

Ava does not like to keep barrettes or ponytail makers in her hair...but I was finally able to get her to leave one in just long enough to get a picture or two...her hair is getting long enough now that it is always in her face...so every time I keep her I put something in her hair...maybe just maybe one day she will leave it in there.
