June 1, 2009 was Collie and Bill Stones' 70th Wedding Anniversary. Also known as Ava's Great Grandparents. Family and friends attended a luncheon in their honor Saturday, May 30, 2009. The luncheon was held at the Ivy House Restaurant in Alachua, Florida. During the celebration Bill Stone was asked "what was their secret for such a long marriage?" He replied, "marry the right woman."
